Hello! My name is Emily!

​

I attended my first birth 5 years ago, and since then, I’ve had the honor of serving over 74 families and have attended more than 90 births. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside families through so many different experiences.

​

My experience includes home births, birth center births, hospital births (both medicated and unmedicated), planned cesareans, emergency cesareans, maternal-assist cesareans, twin home births, planned and unplanned home breech births, and both elective and emergent home-birth transfers.

​

I’ve also had the honor of supporting families through the grief of stillbirth, as well as celebrating with families as they welcome their rainbow babies. It is an honor to be trusted during such a vulnerable, meaningful, and transformative season of life.

I am thankful for every family who has allowed me to be part of their journey. I look forward to continuing to walk alongside these families as they grow.

In addition to serving my established doula clients, I also work as a birth assistant with GEM Wellness Midwifery. It has been such a joy and privilege to be part of the GEM Wellness team and serving families in this capacity.

I’m incredibly grateful for this work and for every family who has invited me into their birth story. I look forward to continuing to support, encourage, and walk alongside families through all the beautiful and challenging moments along the way.
